The line of this lovely cape is shaped to be a little longer on the back and shorter on the front; it has a generous hood, inspired by the Medieval cloaks.
Fully lined, the lining is left free at the bottom, adding a lovely drape play on the fairy-like look of the cape.
It closes with two beautiful metal buttons on the front.
Every cape will have different buttons!
Length (hood excluded)
Front's length: 17 inches
Back's length: 29 inches

I bought this cape as a cover/pretty outdoor layer for my wedding, in winter, in Canada. It's lovely and made me feel like an elf! It has a beautiful drape and kept me plenty warm during blustery weathered outdoor photos. Stefanie was very quick to respond to my questions, as I did need it quickly, and I received it in good time. The only thing I would want to add to the description is that with the high-low silhouette and wool construction (read, heavier in back) the cape pulls toward the back. Regarding size, it is by neck size/opening and felt true to size.

This is incredibly special, I really wanted a hooded light coloured cloak and my favourite colour is deep/dark too so it worked out being able to pick my colours. It is lighter than expected but maybe it is the Ivory wool option. It does however provide warmth during Winter just not past -15/20 degrees C. Otherwise incredible quality, fits beautifully, the hood has plenty of space and reminds me of a Victorian style. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a mid length hooded cape. It also arrived super quick so I could have it in time for a wedding. I placed the order Sunday night a week before Christmas and arrived within the same week!Thank you XO
